It’s finally here. Buckeye Relief located in Eastlake Ohio, became the first of Five medical marijuana grow sites in the Cuyahoga County with baby plants growing like wildfire. With only 56 dispensaries being spread along the country, Ohio has finally became part of history within the medical industry.

Now although we were approved for selling cannabis for medicinal purposes only, Ohio’s Attorney General Mike DeWine has worked hard to even place recreational marijuana on November’s ballot. DeWine decision to do so was because of the stigma on using, selling and sharing cannabis on the streets. He knows that many individuals are being given jail time and non-violent charges because they choose to consume cannabis illegally. How can something so beneficial for many groups of people also become the subject of crime?

This is why we all need to go out and vote November 6, 2018. Everyone does not have one of the 21 medical conditions that would qualify them to obtain a medical marijuana card. Yes, a person has to suffer from one or more of twenty-one qualified condition in order to obtain legal marijuana card in Ohio. So what about the individuals who use recreationally? When we all go out and place in our votes during the primary elections, that’s when we’ll see how we really feel about the freedom to use cannabis in the private of our homes.
